BBOA Shines at the CAAL Chinese New Year Celebrations

Boston Beijing Opera Association performed excerpts from classic Beijing Opera: Water Carrier and Royal Love at the 2019 Chinese New Year Gala by CAAL.

The historic Cary Memorial Hall in Lexington was filled with over 800 people who came for a festive celebration of the lunar new year. The audience was in awe of the magnificent makeup and costuming, the lively dancing and the delightful vocal art. The live orchestra and percussion team brought much richness to the performance.
